Brussels Airlines unveils the fifth aircraft in the series with which the company wants to spread the Belgian colors. This time it’s time for the smurfs to go into the air.
“To design our fifth Belgian Icon we wanted to find out who, according to the audience, would be the best flying ambassador for Belgium. That is why we launched a competition in which everyone who cares about Belgium can submit their design or idea. The number of ideas was overwhelming, from fries to the saxophone, “said Tanguy Cartuyvels, vice president of marketing at Brussels Airlines.
On the other Belgian Icon planes were icons such as, Tintin, the Red Devils and Tomorrowland (dance festival).
